Job Description

The Open University of Tanzania (OUT) is inviting qualified candidates to apply for two positions of Information Communication Technology Officer II – Website Design.

The successful candidates will support the development, testing, maintenance, security, and technical design of software applications and web-based systems.

The role requires strong programming knowledge, technical problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work collaboratively with other software developers and ICT professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Information Communication Technology Officer II – Website Design will be responsible for:

• Planning, coding, and testing computer programs.

• Debugging programs and resolving technical errors.

• Incorporating appropriate security settings into programs and applications.

• Collaborating with other software developers.

• Providing technical advice on the design and development of programs.

• Preparing program architecture and application models.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:

• Computer Science.

• Information Systems.

• Information Technology.

• Computer Engineering.

• Software Engineering.
