AzamPesa is recruiting a Head of Human Resources to serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership and lead the company's people strategy in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute people strategy, HR systems and policies aligned with growth objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, offboarding and other employee-lifecycle operations.
- Lead culture transformation, employee engagement, succession planning and employer branding.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Design compensation, benefits and reward frameworks.
- Champion learning, development and performance-management programmes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field.
- Master's Degree or professional HR membership/certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 to 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Experience in fintech, telecommunications, financial services or banking in Tanzania is preferred.
