AB InBev is recruiting a Brewing Operator in Arusha, Tanzania.

Job Purpose

The role operates manual brewing plant and processes not associated with PLC control, supports maintenance and asset-care activities, and assists with brewing quality-control checks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate designated brewing plant and equipment and monitor production processes during shifts.
• Maintain process quality, productivity and a safe working environment.
• Carry out autonomous maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and equipment inspection.
• Record process performance, waste, product movements and quality-control results.
• Support troubleshooting using 5Y and quick-fix problem-solving routines.
• Identify defective plant and report problems to the Process Artisan or Team Leader.
• Participate in shift meetings and complete proper shift handovers.
• Identify sources of waste and contribute to continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeracy requirements.
• IBD certificate and completed brewing learnership for external applicants.
• Mechanical aptitude and machine-specific experience.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a brewing environment.
• Previous experience in a process-controlled manufacturing environment, preferably food or FMCG.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft and SAP.
• Understanding of the brewing process value chain is an advantage.
