Factory and Processing JobsAB InBev is recruiting a Brewing Operator in Arusha, Tanzania.
Job Purpose
The role operates manual brewing plant and processes not associated with PLC control, supports maintenance and asset-care activities, and assists with brewing quality-control checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate designated brewing plant and equipment and monitor production processes during shifts.
- Maintain process quality, productivity and a safe working environment.
- Carry out autonomous maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and equipment inspection.
- Record process performance, waste, product movements and quality-control results.
- Support troubleshooting using 5Y and quick-fix problem-solving routines.
- Identify defective plant and report problems to the Process Artisan or Team Leader.
- Participate in shift meetings and complete proper shift handovers.
- Identify sources of waste and contribute to continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeracy requirements.
- IBD certificate and completed brewing learnership for external applicants.
- Mechanical aptitude and machine-specific experience.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a brewing environment.
- Previous experience in a process-controlled manufacturing environment, preferably food or FMCG.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft and SAP.
- Understanding of the brewing process value chain is an advantage.
