Securiport Tanzania is recruiting an Accountant reporting to the Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain general and subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and accounting adjustments.
• Process supplier invoices, payment documentation and account reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain complete payment and receipt documentation.
• Assist with periodic reports, annual financial statements, tax computations and statutory returns.
• Provide schedules and supporting information to management and auditors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA is an advantage; QuickBooks, Sage or similar accounting-system experience is required.
• Strong accounting, taxation, internal-control, Excel and analytical skills.
