Technical Director – Faith and Community Initiative (FCI) Jobs at World Vision International

World Vision International is recruiting aTechnical Director – Faith and Community Initiative (FCI)for Tanzania under a local fixed-term contract. Recruitment is contingent upon award and donor approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical direction for FCI Tanzania and adapt the global FCI technical strategy to the Tanzania context.
• Lead integrated service delivery covering HIV, TB, malaria, maternal and child health, nutrition and health-systems strengthening.
• Strengthen referral systems, frontline workforce capacity, supportive supervision and continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain technical relationships with the Ministry of Health, PO-RALG, RHMTs, CHMTs, faith-based providers and other implementing partners.
• Lead technical performance review, adaptive management, evidence use, learning and institutionalisation.
• Manage and technically supervise in-country technical personnel and contribute to work plans, budgets and partner scopes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master's Degree in Public Health, Medicine, Epidemiology, Health Systems Management, Global Health, Nursing, Community Health or a related clinical/public-health field.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of progressively responsible technical experience in integrated health programming.
• Senior technical leadership experience on complex donor-funded health programmes.
• Experience with Government health systems, PEPFAR, Global Fund or comparable major health programmes is strongly preferred.
• Excellent English and Kiswahili communication skills.
