Duties and Responsibilities

• Hear and determine criminal and civil matters within jurisdiction.
• Handle matrimonial and probate matters.
• Prepare judgments and lawful court orders.
• Conduct mediation where applicable and hear appeals from Ward Tribunals.
• Conduct legal research and perform other judicial duties assigned.

Qualifications

Certificate of Secondary Education or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized institution, and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. Computer training is an added advantage.
