Recruitment Services Opportunity – NBC Kinyerezi Branch

NBC Kinyerezi Branch is inviting applications from motivated and customer-focused candidates for a Recruitment Services opportunity on a one-year renewable contract. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is well suited to individuals with strong sales ability, good communication skills, and a genuine interest in customer engagement and retail banking.

This opportunity is designed for candidates who can support the branch in growing its retail banking business by promoting deposit products, attracting new customers, and strengthening relationships with existing account holders. The branch is looking for someone who is proactive, well organized, and capable of delivering results through direct selling and excellent customer service.

Job Overview

The main purpose of this role is to support the sales of Retail Banking liabilities and deposit products at branch level. The successful candidate will help the branch achieve agreed sales targets in line with business objectives by identifying customer needs, promoting suitable banking products, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

This is a practical, target-driven role that requires strong follow-up skills, confidence in dealing with customers, and the ability to convert opportunities into measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to deliver strong performance by identifying customer needs and promoting the bank’s liability and deposit products accordingly. A major part of the role will involve engaging customers for account opening while ensuring all processes are handled in line with NBC Bank policies and procedures.

The role also includes direct sales support aimed at generating and converting quality leads into business opportunities. These may include potential bank agents, Lipa Number opportunities, insurance leads, and retail loan leads. The successful candidate will be expected to support the branch’s efforts in broadening customer reach and improving product uptake.

In addition, the role involves participating in sales activations and marketing campaigns designed to help the branch meet specific performance targets. The successful applicant will also assist in onboarding customers onto the bank’s digital platforms, including the NBC Kiganjani App and USSD services, helping customers access convenient and modern banking solutions.

Another important responsibility will be helping to revive relationships with onboarded customers through dormant account activation, ensuring that inactive customers are re-engaged and encouraged to use the bank’s services actively once again.

The position may also include any other related duties assigned by the Branch Manager.

Requirements

Applicants should have at least a Form Four Certificate, while a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

The branch is looking for individuals with strong sales and marketing skills, excellent communication ability, and the confidence to engage with a wide range of customers. Applicants should be organized, capable of working independently, and also able to contribute effectively as part of a team.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate accountability for results, a proactive working style, and strong follow-up and closure skills. A positive attitude, personal discipline, and motivation to achieve branch targets will be important qualities for success in this role.
