VACANCY: LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Rift Valley Children’s Fund is looking for a qualified Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team.
The successful candidate will provide quality laboratory services while ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with laboratory and IPC standards.
Key Responsibilities
● Collect and process patient samples and perform routine laboratory tests.
● Ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.
● Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, records, hygiene, and safety standards.
● Follow quality control, biosafety, and IPC procedures.
● Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
Requirements
● Diploma or relevant qualification in Medical Laboratory Sciences/Technology.
● Valid professional registration/licence.
● Clinical laboratory experience is an added advantage.
● Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
● Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality.
