Head of Human Resources Jobs at FINCA Microfinance Bank Tanzania

FINCA Microfinance Bank Tanzania (FINCA Impact Finance) is recruiting aHead of Human Resourcesfor its headquarters in Dar es Salaam. The senior leadership role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and may require up to25% regional travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with subsidiary priorities and FINCA Impact Finance standards.
• Advise executive leadership on talent acquisition, succession planning and organisational design.
• Lead performance-management processes, performance-improvement plans, compensation and variable-pay programmes.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws, HR policies, payroll requirements, audits and regulatory reporting.
• Lead staff retention, learning and development, employee relations and organisational culture initiatives.
• Maintain employee-data integrity in HRIS systems and provide analytical reporting to management and the Board.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience.
• At least 5 years of managerial or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws, compensation, benefits, payroll tax procedures and labour relations.
• Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office skills and excellent written and spoken English.
