Grants and Finance Officer - AHADI Jobs at World Vision - August 2026

World Vision is a global Christian humanitarian organization with over 75 years of experience dedicated to helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Grants and Finance Officer - AHADI to join our team in Dodoma, Tanzania.

Major Responsibilities

• Finance, Budget & Asset Management (40%): Ensure funding requests align with approved work plans, support project budget preparation and revision, track expenditures, maintain the Fixed Asset Register, and provide fleet management support.
• Partner Management (30%): Review monthly partner reports, post them into the system, and conduct partner capacity assessments to enhance capabilities and prevent disallowed costs.
• Payments & Procurement (20%): Support timely project payments for vendors, partners, and beneficiaries. Ensure procurement plans are submitted and documentation is maintained accurately.
• Compliance & Audit Support (10%): Support project staff with timesheets and labor distribution reports. Provide active support during audits and facilitate timely responses to audit queries.

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field. A professional qualification (CPA or ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive working experience in a donor-funded environment with exposure to project accounting, financial management, budgeting, and grants.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with an international NGO is preferred.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly Excel and Sun-systems accounting software.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into informative reports.
