Giraffe Oil Company Ltd is recruiting Fuel Tanker & Fleet Drivers for 2 full-time positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy fuel tankers and light utility vehicles to transport petroleum products safely.
• Follow correct loading and offloading procedures to prevent contamination, spillage and product loss.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report servicing requirements.
• Use basic auto-mechanic knowledge to diagnose minor vehicle faults.
• Maintain driver logbooks, delivery notes, fuel receipts and trip reports.
• Comply with traffic laws, petroleum-safety rules and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence covering heavy commercial goods/fuel tankers and light vehicles.
• Minimum 3 years of professional fuel-tanker driving experience.
• Basic auto-mechanic skills and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of hazardous-material handling, fire safety and emergency protocols.
• The vacancy notice states a maximum age of 47 years and requires four verifiable guarantors.
