Accounting Manager Jobs at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti

Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti is recruiting anAccounting Managerbased at itsArusha Office. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the position will help safeguard the financial integrity, accuracy and compliance of the Lodge's financial operations, with particular responsibility for payroll, taxation, reconciliations and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee core accounting activities and maintain strong financial controls.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
• Manage Tanzanian taxation, statutory reporting and compliance obligations.
• Complete and review reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities to strengthen processes and controls.
• Provide accurate financial information to support operational and management decision-making.
• Work closely with Finance, People & Culture and operational leaders.
• Support development, coaching and capability-building within the Finance team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or another relevant discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA (T), ACCA, CMA or an equivalent internationally recognised certification is strongly preferred.
• Candidates currently pursuing an advanced recognised professional accounting qualification may also be considered based on experience and progression.
• Relevant experience in accounting or finance operations, preferably within hospitality or another complex operational environment.
• Demonstrated experience with payroll, taxation, statutory compliance, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial or accounting systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Location & Eligibility

The position is based inArusha, Tanzaniaand is open to local candidates or candidates who already have the legal right to work in Tanzania. Four Seasons Serengeti will not provide work-permit or visa sponsorship for this position.
